Support or not support

Greetings,

My only question about ED is what is with the support? I have opened 2 tickets and none of them are resolved yet I am sure I'm not the only one who open them. Also i have a couple of friends who also opened the ticket like 3 weeks or even more ago and nothing was ever done to resolve the issues or at least get some answers. I am really curious since i have played lots of games (including some big titles with millions of players) and i haven't wait that long for the answers.

Dont worry - they're not sitting there twiddling their thumbs with no work to do.

Tickets will be resolved - fixes for your issues may be included in the upcoming patch.

FD is not a mega-corp with thousands of employees (like EA or Blizzard), so we just need to give them time.

I understand. Completely. I also hardly wait for those fixes. The problem is my ship with full cargo got destroyed. I don't believe that fixes will get all my lost money back and i really cba deleting my save and start all over again.
 
I opened a UI-related ticket on 17th december 2014.
Today, 22th january 2015, I got the first reply asking if I'm still having the problem. :rolleyes:
 
I'm sure the FD support team is overwhelmed at the moment. I saw a thread yesterday about someone putting in a ticket asking about whether it was okay or not to copy his friends game files onto his computer even though they have separate accounts because he read something in the EULA (yes, he got a response from FD support). Although most of the issues that are being ticketed are probably valid I'd love to see some of the silly requests that are being sent to the support team.
 
Yes I feel your guys pain as i have lost a ship a pile of credits, i have put in two tickets dated back to december 27- 28 and im in the competition for the 10k.

The tip i was told is they are watching the Exploit support list the most, so i will try and put a request for support in there.

that's exactly why you would expect them to respond. But still don't worry. They won't be answered until they get auto completed on the next big patch release. That's how they do it now. I've had about 12 tickets in the past month and only one came back with "does this problem still exist?" that's it. So wouldn't expect any actual support. There are still people out there that paid for the game on launch and can't play and haven't even got a response.
