Horizons Surface features not appearing

Does anyone know if the surface features like fumaroles are transient or if they require some particular hardware that was not present 8 years ago?

I've been to two sites and found nothing, my graphics card is an old Radeon HD 5850 with 1GB ram. The drivers are outdated by nearly 2 years.
The sites I visited are:
Eta Cassiopeiae (New Moon Smokers) Coordinates: -21.35 / -72.60
and
Alectrona (Morning's Mists) Coordinates: 43.23 / 37.87

I'm taking the first number as the latitude and the second as longitude.

Those on Europa and Actaea in the Sol system are alive and kicking, visited them earlier today. From what I can see they are fairly basic (though well-executed) particle emitters (game tech), I've built similar objects myself using tech much older than 8 years.

Many of the sites vanished after the 3.0 update, out in Colonia area I was counting around 30% of recorded sites missing, so may be just bad luck.

Oh! geez just when I wanted to go see them!, thanks varonica. I'll search somethign that was spotted recently. Although I have old hardware I still can play on Ultra when exploring so I hoped to see them.
