Newcomer / Intro Surface Hunt?

I'm trying to think of rhyming swear words while my SRV is getting pounded into dust by a T10 and wondering how on earth you're meant to complete these missions. Are you meant to be aligned with the owners of the station?

I'm meant to scan a comms array but I don't stand a chance of getting there. I think I had one of these before a long time ago which didn't have a protecting ship, but I got lost in a maze of opening gates and had to pop myself.

I've never seen one protected by a bloody T10.
That must be quite a fireworks.

To be honest I don't do those very often but when I do, I simply rush in, rush out and try not to die with mixed results.

Alec Turner has several SRV videos where he shows how to drive (more like fly) the really fast. You can actually outrun a ship. Even a fast one.
