Horizons Surface POIs

You know, just regular surface POIs, small automated mining operation, crashed SRV with a bit of cargo, random hoppers guarded by a couple of skimmers, small crashed ship with a couple of escape pods, etc. Blue circle on the map, visible from about 5km altitude - are they still actually in the game or did I miss something?

I haven't been out just looking for random crap like this on a planet for a few months, decided to do a bit tonight and well, I've just flown across a planet for 15 minutes without seeing a single one. Last time I did this you would find one about every minute and sometimes have two or three visible on the map at once. I know it's RNG but 15 minutes is definitely beyond anything I've previously experienced.

Edit: Never mind, sufficiently bored of looking now that I don't even care.

I still see them 8kly from the bubble, I think they may be reduced in frequency, there were to many, at time I have been surrounded with half a dozen visible at once on obscure moons where nobody except me would ever be. Whether they are now to few remains to be seen.
