Current case:
The planter uses the surface scanner,
Gets a bunch of biological or geological.
You can only scrub through this information in the detail surface scanner. In supercruise.
So if I’m on the planet and I’m struggling to a biological/geological I have to fly away from the plant to find out what is on the planet.
Would be handy to have that information in the planetary map.
Currently we just get an empty box until we have scanned the biological. Which then fills in the box with the exact information.
We should have the “type” since its already be ascertained in the planetary scan. So highlighting the type should display the heat map on the planet.
Similar for geologicals.
None-landable stay blue after a scan.
But a landable planet with no details doesn’t get a blue sphere.
It gets confusing.
