So looks like Microsoft is targeting Apple directly, after Surface Pro and Surface Book has been targeting MacBook for the past 2 years I wondered when they'd take on iMac.

32GB DDR4
2TB hybrid drive

Now its an expensive beast and I wouldn't buy one but it does look damn gorgeous. Wouldn't be that bad at gaming but not amazing, if only they could have fitted a desktop GPU in there, saying that they want no noise so compromises I guess.

Aye, you are paying for a few things though. The screen and the quality there. It is an odd resolution made for drafting at 4500x3000 (192ppi). The colour with sRGB, DCI-P3 and Vivid Color Profiles will be key to a lot of UHD quality work.

The most expensive that you guys are all reading the specification though is actually $4199. It isn't even a true SSD in the thing mind either.

This is amazing! I love designing as a hobby, so I have looked for drawing tablets. The prices were too damn high! But this price tips everything! Now I use a drawpad from the Wii. [haha]

Yes! Cintiq forever!
If it's $3000 US Dollars I would expect that's $4000 AU. They always like to pump up the price here. Would definitely be easier buying a cintiq and a computer for that price
