Horizons Surprised and stoked that this game runs on my all-in-one PC

I've got a modest all-in-one and it failed the Can I Run It test, but the game was on sale on Steam so I grabbed it for $20 just to see, and it works great. Always wanted to try the game out, but I'll mostly be playing it on PS4 when it lands next year.

Great days mate. Glad it worked for you !

Don't have the time right now to sit and do more than a couple training missions (holy crap it look me like 5 tries to get near the station, and landed in it with 1 minute to spare) but later I'll set my PS4 controller up and try it for reals.

Good plan. Much more intuitive with some kind of controller. And after running some missions in solo mode for a few days you'll be all ok !

Nice one. I also play on a laptop that has no real business running the game. My experience is that you're better off staying in star systems with relatively low traffic. I get the occasional lock up in my controls, most often around large stations, that I have to treat with caution but, as the OP says .. this is a small price to pay for being able to run the game at all.

Top banana Commander.

Presumably not Horizons but still it's good that you get a start.

Actually yes, Horizons .. You need to dial the graphic settings down (eg. no shadows) and dial the CPU concentration on surface generation, up (plus take your time, so the landscape has a chance to generate before you reach it) .. but it does run, AOK.
