I did get giddy seeing a survival tent being a commodity and thinking back to Mark Wattney in The Martian.
But I did get even more exciting in flying round Europa and finding a settlement of like 4 buildings structures, and one was a shoebox with a double door.
Now this got me all excited to that lone pilot who commutes every day from Mars/sol to that little bunker, and sits in there doing...well something....must be the most isolating and loneliest feeling walking in and out of that air-lock.
But Commander woakes what are you talking about "doors", we can't walk around yet.
Now if you haven't noticed the power-generators at bases have screens and consoles that you can drive up to.
Now 1 future expansion of the game will have walking round the ships.
another future expansion will have you walking off your ships.
Frontier have been planning and future proofing these concepts since before the alpha/betas - Seeing these doors, and consoles already prepared and in game is making my imagination start revving up.
but none more so than what's behind pilot's cockpit door number.....
