Engineers Ships Sustained PvE Vulture

My main PvE ship is a “traditionally” Shotgun specced Alliance Chieftain, I also have a Pacifier Vulture on my XBox account.

I’ve just about finished building this Vulture (link below) for sustained PvE in Haz/HighRez and Crime Sweeps.
It uses the much hated Short Range Inertial Impact Burst lasers —> I find this is not really different to using Frags on my Chieftain and can fire continuously with pips in weapons.
Ive got more of a Hull Focus with resistance specced Biweave….I’m not sure about the one A rated Heavy Duty booster though!
The KWS works nicely for extra credits. The AFMU is powered down but I can use to recover after a fight if I take some unexpected damage.

Any constructive feedback would be most appreciated (other than Inertial Impact sucks….)??

Looks like a very decent Vulture (y)

I was about to suggest frags, but you already know. The Vulture is agile as heck. I normally try to cling onto my target, ramming them to a stop and then stay within a few meters range, because rapid fire screening shell frags. For that I would probably prefer slightly more shield, but then again, it takes ages to recharge.

I burned my fingers engineering 5 burst lasers with long range inertial impact for a Krait, but I might try something like this☝️:alien:

I tried a similar build but found that small targets (Vipers, Eagles, etc) were difficult to hit. Fun build though. Shreds Conda's.

Personally, I'd got for Reactive hull and put thermal on one of the small hull reinforcements. Marginally lower absolute hull, but higher resistances.

I have a few Vultures, but for sustained pirate massacres I ended up going with 2x G5 short range beams with thermal vent and a weapon focussed PD. Power plant killer.

I do that from time to time….but it has to be offset vs a 40-45% price increase and rebuy vs Military and Heavy Duty.
