Switch between Horizon and Odyssey?

Having installed 'Odyssey' and got it working in VR (as far as its design allows), I want to switch back to playing 'Horizon'. Although I can run either in 'desktop (flat screen)' mode, it only launches into 'Odyssey' in VR. I purchased both through 'Oculus' rather than 'Steam'. Is there any way that I can force a default VR launch into 'Horizon'?

You should have one of the following options on your Launcher screen:
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey
Elite Dangerous: Horizons
Elite Dangerous
Elite Dangerous: Arena
Elite Dangerous: Combat Training

The options of playing either Odyssey or Horizons only appear if I wish to play in 'desktop' mode (flat screen). If I choose to play in VR it defaults to 'Odyssey'. There are no options to choose unfortunately. My launcher screen is the 'Oculus' library. I'll take another look but I don't think other options are present. Thanks for the reply though.

Don’t launch it through Oculus I call it ”the dance“ Open the launcher fire up your oculus then select the one you want to play from the launcher on your desktop It will load up in VR I switch back and forth between VR and pancake all the time but that order works perfectly

INSTG8R is right, Bob. You don't need to launch through Oculus. I purchased Elite originally through Steam, but because I have additional accounts, I use the Launcher directly with Oculus. Find the launcher and fire it up. You will have the choices I listed.

Ii actually tested launching through Oculus today but it will still only launch the game and not the launcher so you don’t get “logged in” I actually moved mine to Steam at one point thinking Steam VR would be “easier” THEN I actually had the OPs problem it would ALWAYS just launch Odyssey despite me wanting to play Horizon so I would have to quit and relaunch it again every time via the launcher. I’ve moved back to the standalone again but annoyingly because I always have steam running Steam VR always try’s to “jump in” too when I launch… I don’t call it ”the dance” for nothing…

Then let me add a little more. I just recently discovered these commands for the Launcher: /autorun /autoquit /vr /edo .

The first three should be obvious. 1 & 2 automate the launcher and taking you to the game. I haven't played with /vr yet, but it is supposed to do just what you might think: take you straight to VR. The final option actually has 3 flavors: /ed, /edh & /edo, which take you to the base game, Horizons or Odyssey.

Hope this helps. :)

Noted, I mean I have my system pretty much down now I basically just need to switch my GFX settings between VR and Regular once I launch the game in whichever I choose.

Sorry, but I'm a bit lost here. I now don't know what you mean by 'Launcher'. I have only recently changed from using a Rift S to using a Quest 2. Is the launcher something to do with the Quest? Or perhaps is it either a 'third party' piece of software or some feature of Oculus that I am unaware of.

To be fair now though, the query is a bit redundant as I and my friends are getting more familiar with 'Odyssey'. As we do, we are more likely to continue using it rather than switching back to 'Horizon'. Even so, I guess it will be useful to know should I ever wish to return to 'Horizon'. Many thanks for your comments.
