Switchbox for a DIY cockpit setup

With quite a bit of interest in full cockpit building or just simply the need to supplement HOTAS buttons, there are a few options around. The Thrustmaster Cougar MFD panel is one device that has been used. Or even something like the Logitech G13 controller. Even home brew Arduino based devices. I came across this device http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191830153029 which, although intended for racing car cockpits seems like it may be very useful for ED. Mine arrived today and it works very well. It behaves like the buttons on a standard joystick or controller and can be assigned in ED bindings like any other controller. I am using it for the more obscure things that dont need to be at your fingertips when in the heat of battle. Or a duplication of a couple of the HOTAS buttons. He does a few different boxes with more buttons/switches/rotary encoders, but this one is the smallest/cheapest. He has a website here http://bbjsimracing.com/ . Now to get the Dymo machine out to start labelling all these new buttons.

So it's detected in windows like any joystick and you can just assign the buttons like usual. Sounds good!
