switching between ships: how?

Hello everyone

I was wondering if anyone has switched between ships yet?
I have another ship stored but I can't figure out how to switch between them?
I see the ship in storage when I visit the shipyard while docked, but then I can't find a way to switch to that ship from there... any tips?

When you're at the same station as the stored ship, go to the shipyard. Under "Stored Ships" (second tab at the right side), select the ship and pick "Activate and store current ship" or something like that. Be careful not to select the option to sell the stored ship. ^^

oh ok, I didn't thought to actually go where the ship is stored lol... makes a lot of sense. I guess I thought teleportation was ok in 3300

Switching between ships

I would not mind paying for a fee to have a stored ship transported to the current station rather than having to travel all the way back to the station where it was parked. Elite Valet Service

Yeah.

This mechanic struck me as odd, because I think I remember it being mentioned by BrabeN himself that you could own multiple ships and get your ship "posted" to you.

Maybe it's a "future" update, when pilots can walk around and passengers can also move around.
Meaning a pilot can pick up a "mission" where he ferries another player "back" to a station for a fee, or for a fee ferries a ship somewhere else.
Maybe having to leave their own ship or use wing's / AI tethering could tow your ship to your current location.
