Switching ships.

I have a Cobra in a station a ways away from where i am in my Type - 6. I want to switch back to the cobra so i can start outfitting it for combat. Is there a way to switch ships that i am missing or do i have to take my Type-6 back 200Ly to the station my cobra is in?

Yep. Or buy a sidey, leave your T6 where it is and zip over to where your Cobra is.

Buy a sidey, a rate the fsd and fit a c2 fuel scoop, it'll take you 10-15 minutes.

i think hauler is best for this. upgrade fsd to your liking, sell everything sellable. jumping range maxed.
when arriving at dest., remember to sell the fsd before selling the hauler again, so you don't lose spent money on outfitting.

fd: we definately need some feature for this. can't be too complicated, imo.
