Sylphs

Thought I'd start this thread to start tracking what we know about them. Iiiii guess I'll start.

There is only 12 of them at any time.
They use a host as a physical body.
Only one is a runner.
The Others are hunters.
The hunters hunt the runner.
It's how they "reproduce".

What's a sylph?

Well a Sylph is an Air Elemental but what nightmare Yure has been having I don't know.

There are two famous ballets about them - La Sylphide and Les Sylphides (two of my favourites).

Also a skinny woman was called Sylphlike - well she was if she was attractive.

So essentailly it's alien female spacebabes confirmed?

They are mentioned in the Elite Dangerous: Nemorensis book. The whole book revolves around them. Yet they are just briefly mentioned.

...But they are there... And nobody is talking about them. ;-)

Just thought I'd update this entry with this minor coincidence. Generation Ship Hyperion's prophet child exhibited traits similar to the "runner" sylph.

Don't think they are related, just find it amusing how a child could affect so many.
