Thing is, while the current Nav Lock system works like a charm most of the time, it becomes a bit clunky when making multiple jumps between systems, having to wait for my friends to make the jump and then for their FSDs to cool down when I'm already all set for the next jump just doesn't feel very intuitive.
So why not make jumps synchronized? Keep the current system with the FSD wakes and all for everything else, but if two or more wingmen are within certain range of each other and travelling at roughly the same speed (similar to how you'd interdict someone I guess), and one begins to charge his FSD to make a jump, then the other wingmen automatically begin to charge theirs as well (with the same destination of course), and they all make the jump at the same time. Not only would this be more convenient, but it could also look much more awesome, imagine traveling through the wormhole tunnel thingy, lookinf around you, and seeing all your buddies flying along with you. I'd also feel more like we're a team than like I'm just guiding them through the galaxy or vice-versa.
Similar stuff has probably been suggested before, but hey, at least that just goes to show we'd like to see a feature like this :T
