Synthesis Lab: Make synthesis more immersive, and perhaps balance it a bit at the same time.
Grade E-A, like anything else. Probably have it be pretty cheap.
This affects time- E-rank stuff takes multiple minutes, up to A-rank taking a minute or two, or whatever large time requirements would balance it for PVP. At low power.
The module takes power usage to 100%: all available power is dumped into the module, and it works as best it can, fuel use goes to max. If you turn off shield/thrusters and/or the other largest consumers, more power is available and the time it takes drops drastically. So, if you are in a very non-combat situation, you can drop thrusters, maybe even shields, and have it take 10 or 30 or 60 seconds, depending on how much power is available, and what grade of lab.
So in PVP, you can still synth stuff, but it will take forever with everything else sucking power. In PVE, you can stop, disable some stuff, and print as you like. I suppose you could turn off your thrusters and shields in PVP as well...
Obviously, synthesizing while docked with unlimited power drops the time to nearly nothing.
Same for SRV, just give it a base time of 60 seconds, so if you stop and power down, you can repair/rearm/refuel faster. Makes sense, right?
I would also like a way to pre-create at least FSD charges, a decent amount. It makes a lot of sense that the combat-related stuff would be bulky, and allowing instant synthesis makes PVP even sillier. But FSD charges don't affect combat, and they just SIT THERE in the materials list.
