Synthetase' Roadmap...

In my wonderful :) yet imaginary :( announcement

Hello Zookeepers (I won't use the planet language... although I want to!)
It is almost Planet Zoo's FOURTH Birthday! 🎂 Happy Birthday to Planet Zoo and its community!
To celebrate we got update 1.15.2
Read on to find out what's new!
Our Anniversary Animal is the majestic Musk Ox! These formidable animals not only have to survive the harshest climes in the Northern hemisphere but also can protect their young from predators via standing around them. Pretty cool <3

  1. Common Crane. A second crane would be nice... It's weird that the only bird groups with multiple to choose from are penguins and ratites when many types of mammals have all kinds of options! I also like cranes so a second one would be cool. I think Grey-crowned Crane is awesome and common in zoos. Although I'd love a NA bird such as Sandhill or Whooping Cranes. Common Crane however covers the most ground being present in many continents. Common cranes are also present in zoos.
  2. Common Pheasant. Any pheasant would be cool to complement the peafowl. Found all over the world.
  3. Mallard Duck. Why do we have swan when we don't have a duck????
  4. White-faced Whistling Duck. Its a beloved and unique zoo species. Complements the other duck in my list.
  5. Black Howler Monkey. Just because New World monkeys should have more variety and this one looks different from the present monkey in game with his shaggy fur.
  6. Ocelot. The most zoo type of all New World small cats. We have plenty of small cats for the old world yet none for the New World.
  7. Elk. A deer for both parts of Asia and NA! Its awesome.
  8. Echidna.
  9. Ring-tailed Coati.
  10. Barbary Sheep. I think a desert version of sheep could be cool.
How I'd finish PZ, if we only had two animal packs left...
New World Animal Pack
The headliner is none other than the Black Howler Monkey! Shown doing his famous calls!

Why? Shaggier and larger PLUS a better range than the current NWM in game. Adorable vocalizations. Decently represented IRL zoos.
Revealed not too long after announcement are the Elk, Musk Ox and Patagonian Cavy!

The first one is majestic enough for any zoos IMO and has a range expanding in parts of Asia as well as NA. NA needs a "normal" deer. Also, the Elk has similarly iconic vocalizations. The Musk Ox is the arguably last of the iconic arctic animals to add! He is also adorable with herding behavior. They are given an unique strategy to protect against wolves... The stronger older ones surround the smaller more vulnerable ones! A good animal to add! Lastly, a new rodent is always necessary! This one adds representation to Patagonia AND in addition is very common in zoos!
Later on are revealed the: Mallard Duck and Ring-tailed Coati!

The Mallard Duck. Common in the wild and in zoos! The most "basic" form of duck arguably. The Coati is also common in zoos and is near the very top of the wishlist!
Lastly, revealed a screenshot of

The Ocelot. The most controversial of the new additions, but adds a small cat to NA. One that fits the zoos too. (IMO the bobcat doesn't fit zoos...)
In addition to the new animals there are new patterns and one new colormorph!

The wolves may have more color on their faces now and the Dall Sheep comes with a darker morph now!
