He loved to overlook a clearing in the valley that was probably created by his ancestors...
The researchers decided to name him, Eas. (They broke unwritten rules about humanizing animals AND they tamed him too much for proper Elephant research...)
However, eventually, Eas showed the two females in his herd that the researchers could be trusted. They named the braver one, Ndari and her less brave friend became known as Ningrum...
