Horizons SYNUEFE XR-H D11-102 1 B (-31 -129)

Hi

As everyone already knows the Ancient Ruins are Discovered In Elite Dangerous. SYNUEFE XR-H D11-102 1 B (-31 -129)

Their technology level is high and some of it is still active and working after being buried. This means those who build these artifacts are active.
There are several types of items we can find on the site but one of them is a figure of alien. I would like to see this figure closer to know more about them.

OR they made us think those are old and we are like bees in a honey trap while they study us.

I suggest from military aspect that we do only take these items to one location to be studied and not spread them around our systems.

If I was alien and I would like to scan the opponent systems, I would just give artifacts for free with a locator inside them.
Then I would just scan the space to get exact locations of the systems they are being taken. Location is always information needed in war.

While studying these artifacts to get more information out from them, we must ask ourselves two more questions...

Where are they now?
Are we going to let them come to us or do we go for them first?

This is why I have been scanning similar systems around the site to find any evidence of any alien activity. I did not find any new interesting sites except one.
It was highly alarming because there were hundreds of space ships smashed in space. There were a black box which I took to MAIA station to be examined.
This black box includes necessary information of events around the alien site and how all those hundreds of ships got smashed.

I would have considered this site normal if it was in our normal human space, but this one was not. This is relevant because nobody would bring hundreds of ships in middle of nowhere for no reason.

Some of the smaller space ships were almost intact and as I see the pilots were taken out through the glass. These ships made really odd sounds while I cammed them.
I took a photo of the site and felt sorry for all those commanders who had faced this type of mass termination.

Here in this facebook image you can see the start of the site which continued for miles ahead. I am sorry I don't have the coords because I found this by accident.

I am not affraid of things I can see, but I am of those that I can not.

What is the story around the alien site, not just the site itself. I am looking for evidence of what was going on here before. The site might not be ancient...

G'day, Roen.
I just spent two day at the ruins you speak of, didn't see the picture of the alien.
I do agree with you that the artifacts, I collected 20 odd, should all be going to one location to be studied instead of being sold all over the place.

Interesting point to consider, while I was there I found about 8 data beacons which as you know come out of the ground, these stayed alight all the time I was on the surface, but disappeared once I launched of the surface. I was hoping they would be visabul from above as the pattern might provide some sort of clue.

Most interesting your photo of the graveyard, if you do get back to it and get the co-ords please post.
How did the graveyard show up, was it on your scanner? Was it on the system map? Do you have a rough idea where it is?

I missed that graveyard so I'd also be interested in returning there to do some looking around, so I'd also appreciate the coordinates if you have them.

Hi guys, just jumping in to let you know that it may be a more efficient way of going over theories and information gathering if you'd take a look at the threadnaught https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ology-and-other-mysteries-Thread-9-The-Canonn (first page has all the latest info/theories).

Don't get me wrong, conducting your own research is all good and fine, it's just that you may save a lot of time not chasing ghosts if for example a theory has already been disproven. Also calls for unified drop-off points (cannon institute in Col 285 Sector IX-T D3-43 is a good and well used spot for it) and going over general strategies might work a lot better/quicker the more of the researchers are on the same page. Everyone is welcome. Again, no problem if you want to stay independent, i'd at least recommend taking a peek in order to at least stay up to date.

cheers, happy 'scienceing' CMDR's

Yup, good advice, thanks. I do check that huge thread from time-to-time but keeping up with it is a full-time task. Don't mind going out to places and have a look for myself since it's fun to explore (for me, anyway). Still trying to figure out that archeological site's clues, etc, so I've been keeping an eye on that part of the thread as well.

Snooch LeBooch,
thankyou for that link to Cannon, wow what a lot of information is there, and it does answer a lot of my question.

Yeah, same here, drawing your own conclusions and 'live' the research is a lot more fun/rewarding than just following the news - having a bit of a 'backup' when it comes to loony ideas (has someone thought of this? did someone test this already?) helps a lot though.

Yeah, it get's a bit overwhelming at first. But if you take into account that the frontpage alone contains 'research' (read: any loony idea + actual conclusions to theories + people occasionally just venting) from the last 20 month it's surprisingly comprehensive. Don't be discouraged by the size of it, right now seems the best time for a slow and relaxed read through since it seems like the all the discoveries might have been made for 2.2 (i'd love to be proven wrong here) so you could just take your time, have a cup of tea/coffee/whiskey/whateverfloatsyourboat and just read a bit.

I don't represent Cannon Institute... I present Whisky Observation Org.

We don't use scientific ways to study our universe, because we simply observe things while we are being heavily drunk. What ever comes out into our minds must be fun and sometimes even horribly wrong in the right way.

I salute you sir! ..as i can fully relate to, even vouch for your scientific methods. Well, whatever keeps you fueled and good to go, may it lead to some hilarious accidents that just happen to somehow solve whatever mystery is creeping around in the back of your mind - horribly wrong in the right way, is a lot better - and a lot more fun - than not giving a dang.
