Hi!
It's been almost a year after my initial thread Common Use SQL Game Database Source.
I have developed the database and a webclient to enter and edit system layout data. It's not that much of a pity that i found out, after being away from the game some time, that the ingame galaxy map has become pretty fast and good and that you can buy system data for just a few credits because it was fun doing and i've learned the techniques to make such apps.
Nonetheless the software has become pretty obsolete as it's main purpose was to being a kind of logbook for your travels for hotspots throughout the galaxy. The problem now is that you can get system data in the galaxy map with just a few clicks and that you have to enter system data in my app first manually, which of course nobody wants to do if you can get it more easily ingame.
But there could still be a use for my app:
1. Frontier finally gives access to their system data. This is ofc problematic as getting system data is part of elite's ecosystem.
2. There's still a gap in system data, especially commodity data, that could be filled. There's also a navigation issue in the galaxy map of being too full of information. Neighbors of your current location can be viewed in 2D making it easier to navigate.
Here's a screenshot of what i've done so far.

System coordinates and neighborhood are coming from Inhumierer's database. You can navigate to another system by just clicking the list top-right.
If anyone can imagine a good use for this app or a modified version, let me know. It would be too much effort though to finish and debug it completely when there is little use in the end. Of course, if frontier opens access to the system data, it would be nice to have an extra navigator app on the tablet or notebook or on a second screen, where you could add notes and certain commodity values.
