system is too far to jump

hello everyone

i accepted a trade mission for a system that is too far from any of my current locations for me to reach with the jump limit of 0.6 tons of fuel. is there anyway to jump halfway there or seomthign? i seem stuck at this point in this mission because i cannot get there.

also anyone know of any udpate guides for the gamma version?> everything seems to be from beta.

other than getting a better FSD, Ship or loosing some weight you will have to cancel the mission. While browsing the bulletin board you can check your current range by looking at the right screen under the ship stats.

Most of the Beta Stuff still applies to Gamma. I don't think there will be any accurate Documentation until after release on the 16th.

Unfortunately, if you can't jump to a system closer to your destination, then you can't complete the mission. Odd that it allowed you to take the mission, but the first version allowed you to make all sorts of mistakes... like jumping into a system with no way to refuel, not even with a fuel scoop... or getting pulled out of witch space by Thargoids and not having fuel to make it to the nearest star, which is not really your fault but was a very good reason to hate them even more.

make a jump to another system, then jump back, this should reduce your mass sufficiently to make the desired jump to complete the mission.

Otherwise you may need to re-dock and sell weapons or other hardware to make the jump.
