System map in a popup window

One thing I would like, was if the system map opened in a popup window you could move, resize and pin to a specific location, so you could move it to another monitor if you have a multiple monitor setup and still have control of your ship when its opened.

Sounds like a good idea to me; but if you can't do it on the consoles, they aren't going to go for it

I really like this idea, I'd have loved to have the gal map and system map each on their own monitors while exploring or trading, or galnet open while cruising around, but given the significant load times for those assets I think it's our current technology (CPUs and servers) that couldn't really handle it. Maybe one day.

If its resizable it might work with console and single monitor setup on PC as well I think. IMO it is not necessary for the system map to fill the entire screen - it could easily be optimized for a smaller area. If not, they could still have the option to open it in full screen for detailed information.

I'd like to see the system map added as a tab on the left consol. It's too slow and cumbersome to have to load when all you want to know is some basic system info. Government etc.
