System Map loading problems

After I have loaded the game for the first time each day, I usually check my System map to make sure I have scanned everything I need, before moving on. When I press the system map icon in the U.I. it sticks at the loading window. The only way out is to exit the game and in doing so, the loading window persists over the closing. I have to exit to the main screen and then reload.

Once I have done this, the system maps work fine for every system until I shut the game down once more.

Does anyone have any ideas to help, please?

You could try validating the game files option from the loader.

Edit. This might involve a big download. I thought I should mention that. So backup binds etc.

Hi, thanks for that. Nothing seems to improve the problem but I will keep searching until I get it resolved. If I find a solution I will post it, in case others have the same issue.
