System map loading time

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with getting to load the system map quicker???

I'm hoping its not my PC. Maybe anyone has any tips for it??
It takes like 15/20 sec to load every time and then i see bad textures, and wait 5 sec and then all is with the correct textures.
This is in for me undiscoverd systems.
The rest of the game is really quick, no delays.

I'm running on:
3840 × 2160

i7 4790k
Asus GTX Titan X
16gb ddr3
Samsung 850 pro SSD
Wired 150Mbit

As per the other thread, disabling Superfetch (if Windows 10) might have an effect. But the System Map does seem to be something of a bottleneck at present.

PC spec looks good enough.

What's your network to broadband setup and speeds?
Is your PC connected to your router via wireless or network cable?

Superfetch okay , i will look into it thanks so much.
Sorry didn't find any thread when searching about the system map loading. Maybe i didn't look good enough.

Sorry, that was me being vague. The Superfetch info came from the Windows 10 Creator's Update thread. Apologies for the confusion, the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

Wired 150Mbits connection straight to ISP modem. speedtests all come back at 148/150 so now problem there i think. Thanks for thinking with me.

That's all ok then.

After you've loaded a system once with the delays is it faster the next time you look at the system?

Well I did just check the loading of systems that I have previously visited around the galaxy and some within the bubble that I don't think I have visited and they all load/display very quickly.

What I have seen recently is that some stars in newly visited systems take about 1-2 seconds to get their full texture and planets about the same, but it's hardly noticeable for me.

Could it also be to just downgrade some graphical options? Less supersampling, antialiasing or something?

Ive found it depends on where you are. I usually don't have any trouble with it but if I am down Prof. Palin's way then it is a nightmare - and as for plotting a route? Go make a coffee time.
