System Map panel moves when I move my head?

When I use the System map in VR, the little panel that pops up to describe the selected planet or station in the System moves when I turn my head. There is a line coming from the panel that is supposed to point to the object that the panel describes, but it can't point to it because it moves all over the screen.

Is this an option that can be turned off? Or some way to stop it from moving with my head? I cannot tell which object I have selected in the System map when it is moving around. Even worse is that often the panel moves out of view, so I cannot read it.

How do you guys deal with this?

I'm only a month into VR, so haven't mastered the system map yet. However, I find zooming close to the planet / body you are interested in stops the description moving about. I also find it helps when selecting bodies. Also, I try not to move my head around too much in system map.
