System map still takes aaaaages to load

Did this ever get sorted out? My system map always takes a long time to load, especially for multi-star systems.

I can understand it if the data is stored locally and has to load from my hard drive, which is not a SSD. I can always replace the hard drive with an SSD, but I'm only going to do that if it will help.

Thoughts?

Not entirely sure, but I think system map delays are a server thing.
Maps load quickly for me.

system maps loads normally for me but all planets are black, even after he is finished loading the simulation. Didn't have that before the hotfixes. ELW, Ice planet, doesn't matter. even Sol. Got no distinction. Maybe its a lighting problem.

I can’t explore anymore because ...
Since yesterday , the system map stuck in loading phase .
Wait 20 minutes and no planet appears.
Does this relate to the latest Odyssey update?

~Same here.. couple times already. Attached one with 8 bodies discovered on the Scanner but they never load on the system map..
I found posts like this back to 2018.. so i guess this is an oldddd issue that will take forever to be fixed.

Is it a coincidence that I have this new problem since the release of Odyssey?

I have noticed that when I jump over 10 LY , the system crashes.
I jumped yesterday 47 ly and after a system scan of 12 planets, the System Map showing nothing.

I’m a explorer since 7 years now, so for me , it’s not like a small problem. It’s a very big issue.
So, what can I do ?
I’m near Colonia and I want to make a trip to the bubble, so I have to fix this before.
I’ll send a letter tonight to Frontier Technical Support .
Hope they will send me a solution .

I was in and out of the System Map this evening and was struck by how much faster it was loading.

Once or twice, though I did have the 'black sun' problem.

I've noticed this, enter a new system. Honk. If you're the first to visit it it will say 8 bodies for example. They don't show up in the system map till you've done a full system scan. Once you have they all show up. I have noticed on already discovered systems they show up straight away in the system map.

I have jumped to systems with no planets (although the honk finds like 8+), but then again that same system star is already discovered by someone.
maybe thats the mechanic right there: you need to find your way to the "undicovered 8+ planets"
