System Security rating - where is it?

People talk about the security rating of a system, and refer to this being somewhere on the System map. Sorry, I may need glasses but where is this?

Look over on the left hand side. You may have to move your cursor away from the primary star to see the information.

It's really well hidden for no good reason.

Basically, when you go into system view, don't have anything selected, left and mouse button at same time and wheel tozoom out is how to do that. Then it appears in the info panel in your left.

why this isn't in the galaxy map view I don't understand.

Sorry guys, I'm not seeing it. Each time I'm in the System map the star is selected. I can't deselect anything.

Use your mouse or joystick/pad to move the cross hair away from the star. Are you on PC or Xbox?

On PC. I do see it if there is more than one star in the system. But if there is onl one star, that is selected and I can't deselect it.

Edit - got it! I use the keyboard key to move the cross-hair to the left. Rep for all! Thanks.

You'll need to used the WASD keys to move focus away from the star, and it'll pop up in the left pane. I've added a few images to illustrate it.

Before moving focus:
