System Trade Prices

Hi Cmdrs,

Now if memory serves me right, I believe that one of the ELITES 2 or 3 allowed you to see the Trade Prices of the system without going in to the station, now this would be very handy to see where a good milk run would be, even if you have to buy another piece of kit for your ship "Trade Communication Device" it would save a lot of time.

What do you think guys?

Yes a trade comparison computer upgrade, like the external tools, is a good idea. There is no point ALT+TAB out of the game to check these when they could be within in the game. I see you can optionally buy trade data from the galaxy map for the whole system, and this allows the player to click the small arrow in the final column on any commodities page, to compare system to system (and confused the heck out of me!) but not station to station, as you may have suggested. It would also help with finding unique items, like finding the place where Jonty Bass is located, and then discovering where best to sell it.

Yep it would mean you could zip in from system to system check the stations trade prices if any of them are good dock at it if not head on out to next system.

Would make the game just that little more Friendly instead of dock, "The Galaxy map lied you don't except Paladium!"
