Does anyone know the relationship between illegal goods and the economy/government type of a station?
In particular I'm trying to work out how this works with Archon Delaines Power.
In his Control Systems it says:
1) All weapons, slaves, narcotics and medicines are legal.
2) Huge increase in consumption and production of narcotics and weapons along with reduced prices.
3) Security level halved.
4) Black Markets opened.
Numbers 3 and 4 are understandable.
For number 1 the goods I think its talking about are Battle Weapons, Personal Weapons, slaves, imperial slaves, narcotics, tobacco and combat stims.
Slaves and Imperial slaves are not legal in all of his control systems. The rest are. I'm guessing thats a bug.
For number 2 I'm not sure how increasing consumption and production works. What if the goods aren't produced there before its taken over?
It sounds similar to what Patreus, Aisling and Torval do, anyone know how that works?
Archon Delaine has Patronage systems as the ones he is good at Expanding and Controlling.
Dictatorships seem to be the ones that offer the illegal goods.
Will flipping the local faction from Dictatorship to Patronage effect any of the illegal goods being produced?
Its a bit of a strange system, he get bonuses to changing minor factions that are Independent, but most Patronage systems are Imperial. He really needs to have a bonus to flip to Patronage minor factions, not Independent ones.
