What is the Cerberus Plague?
The Cerberus plague is a deadly disease that caused the death of millions and forced dozens of space station into quarantine. A cure - made from Heike Ceremonial Tea - was finally found at Bast after a last, desperate community effort to fight the plague was successful.
I thought Cerberus Plague was eliminated?
While the strain that caused so many deaths a few month ago was successfully eliminated, a new strain is starting to spread. At Wilkes Orbital in Nespeleve a new strain was found that infected most hostages that got liberated from a criminal organization.
This is our chance to fight the new stain of the cerberus plague before it really spreads.
Why should I help fighting the Cerberus Plague?
The last time the cerberus plague killed millions and - probably worse for CMDRs - forced dozens of space stations into quarantine. The quarantined stations offered absolutely no services - no refuel, no repair, no shipyard. The later caused a lot of CMDRs not being able to retrieve their stored ships.

Why is the Cerberus Plague so dangerous?
The Cerberus plague is highly contagious. The last stain resulted in new stations getting affected in an incredibly fast rate. There were predictions that the last strain would have caused thousands of stations to be quarantined within 2 months.
Imagine a galaxy where thousands of stations offer no services. Trade would become impossible. Piracy would become impossible. Exploration would become impossible - ok, turning in the exploration data would be impossible. Exploration would probably the only thing left for CMDRs to do.
Human activity would come to a stop on a galactic scale.
I bet most CMDRs don't want to go exploring in the ship they are currently fly.

You are aware that this is about CMDRs giving "tasty cargo" away for free to anybody who is willing to fly to Nespeleve - where the CG is?
No need to interdict, no need to threat, no need to kill. They just give you the cargo if you ask nicely and are willing to help fighting the Cerberus plague.
If you want you can help filling up other ships. That would be very nice.
If you really want to interdict and threat and take cargo away from CMDRs be so nice to take part in the CG and sell the cargo at Wilkes Orbital in Nespeleve. But again, you will get the cargo if you ask and are willing to fly to Nespeleve.
