T. Flight Hotas 4 Issue

Installed the game less than as week ago. Took about 5 hours to complete the basic flight and combat intro.

Ran down to Best buy and picked up the asbove3 controller by Thrustmaster. Took a little bit to get what buttons for what. And it worked good.

Today during my first bounty hunt I was pushing buttons like crazy and after the fight I found when I went to any of the panels and tried to use the rocker on the throttle to change the top row, it would not work. I was forced to use the 'Q' key.

Any one have any ideas?

Test the axis in the device menu. If it is still okay then re-bind it in-game. If windows doesn't get input from the axis take the stick back where you got it and get another one.

I think I found the problem yesterday. When I went to its control panel it showed it in 4/8 axis mode.

I placed it back in 5/8 axis mode then checked and updated its firmware.

My next issue with. My fingers are big and when I am trying to stay alive, I end up pressing buttons and ending up in some other mode (Like some sort of camera) and do not know how to get it back in the mode I was just in (Flight?) I usually end up switching back and forth between keyboard and the joystick till I can dock and exit the game and then come back in

Go to the in-game settings and check your bindings. Anything you don't need for or during flight or fight shouldn't be on the stick.
Personally I use VR and voice attack, so I have all commands assigned to keys and can use them through voice attack and only the commands I use for flight on the stick.
