Hardware & Technical T.Flight HOTAS X Question

I just got my HOTAS today and was eager to try it out, and for the life of me I cant get the thrust to work properly. It seems like 99% of the thrust axis is reverse and the remain 1% is 0 thrust. Is there something that I am missing?

check the ingame settings for throttle. In particular 'reverse axis' and 'full range'

Bind the throttle to throttle axis, not to throttle up or throttle down.

I've also found the throttle axis is inverted. If you have it set for normal with "Inverted No" pushing forward on the throttle will give you reverse thrust. But setting Inverted to Yes for the throttle axis give you forward thrust when you push the throttle forward. Crazy.
