T REX MECHANIC THAT WOULD BE AWESOME⭐

Tyrannosaurus Rex absolutely truly the king the dinosaurs I love this carnivore so much and with new discoveries of even bigger specimens like Scottie the Tyrannosaurus Rex found in Canada who is basically the largest male Tyrannosaur beating Sue by 7 ft making it a grand total of 50 ft. I might as well talk about a mechanic that should be prioritized for the Tyrannosaurus Rex, like the spinosaurus prioritizing fishing rather than eating goats or beef I think the Tyrannosaurus Rex should prioritize eating goats rather than beef that's lying there as Alan Grant once said, "T-Rex doesn't want to be fed T Rex wants to hunt, you can't just suppress 65 million years of gut instinct" Dr.Alan Grant.

It would be so awesome if T-Rex would prefer live prey a mechanic I hope Frontier will add in the future of this game. Goats are currently the only life pray for carnivores other than fish now but of course other
live prey would be a good option for DLC inclusion such as pigs, and cows would be nice

I do agree with you but it's funny that he said that when they were feeding Rexy a goat in the movie.
In reality most predators hunted juveniles and T-Rex was not different in that.
There was a abundance of juvenile herbivores much slower and easy prey.
We don't have them in JWE but the goats are the next best thing or some herbivores once in a while. :)

We really don't know that. Sadly we can't observe living T. rex, and direct evidence for predation is sparse. There are a few instances where Triceratops and Edmontosaurus have been few upon. But we really don't know what preference T. rex had. Though indeed it's likely it favoured young and sick animals like you said, but we cannot get any more specific than that it's likely.

Really very few active predators would pass up a free meal. So while it would be fun to see predators like T. rex favour live prey over dead meat, it really wouldn't make much sense in a pure feeding sense. Though there are animals that do hunt for sport. And I think that even with full feeders everywhere, the predators in the park will still occasionally hutn and eat a herbivore that it share's it's enclosure with. So I don't think it's needed to increase the amount of hunting again.

I believe it was both a hunter and scavenger.
There's proof, although scarce, of both but yes we still don't know everything about this animal and many other dinosaurs for that matter.
If it was hunting, it will most likely chosen juveniles and weaker older herbivores.
I don't believe in the so called T-Rex vs Triceratops myth, they probably evaded each other.
The only time I would think that a T-Rex would take on a Triceratops or armored species is when the herbivore would come to close to his nest with either it's eggs or Baby T-Rexes.

I agree with all points here. I think in the case of a T Rex, a goat would simply be a source of amusement with the reward of a treat. It would be similar to a cat chasing a mouse maybe (even when it has food available).

Well yes. Pretty much all active predators also eat carrion. Yes T.rex and Triceratops likely mostly avoided each other. But there is at least evidence that T.rex ate Triceratops. But yeah it seems likely that T.rex would favour the less defended Edmontosaurus. And there is at least a couple of examples of Edmontosaurus tails with rex bite marks that showed healing. I'm not sure about the other, but one of those is an adult Edmontosaurus. Though we can't of course be sure when in it's life it was attacked. So it might have been quite a bit younger when it was attacked.

Also species names are never capitalized. So, rex in T. rex/Tyrannosaurus rex shouldn't have a capital R.
