I also am not sure what the T. rex needing sand is in reference to. A lot of the dinosaur needs are arbitrary and don't seem to be based on actual paleontology or reference to the movies.Hello, so with the T-Rex needing sand and NOT NEEDING FOREST im assuming this is wrong? Not one of the movies they needed more sand than trees?
They'll need a bit more sand, but not an entire enclosure's worth. They also do need some trees depending on the map, so if you're playing in a Tropical environment they'll need some forest, for example.Hello, so with the T-Rex needing sand and NOT NEEDING FOREST im assuming this is wrong? The same could be said for most known dinosaurs. Generally the fossils are found in the lowland floodplains closer to the coast. Because that's where the fossils are more easily preserved. It's probably based on the U.S. supposedly having an inland sea at that time. So maybe the Rex needs sand because of that.
The logic is more inherited from Zoos I think, certain animals need harder or softer ground to walk on (hence rock and sand as the terrain brushes that matter). So, the buck and female Rex you get in the TLW Chaos Theory scenario died while I was playing, and I didn't get the Rex Unlocked. I made to Carnos and stuck them in the last pen. One of their needs was sand. It's in the middle of the desert. Why do they want more sand? lol
The same thing for the Rex. It's a desert map and they want more sand.
