Any chance of a basic black T-shirt with just the Elite logo on it nothing else? I'm not too keen on the present offering as an extra but would certainly buy one if there was a selection of designs.

Anyone else feel this way or are you ok with people reading "I backed Elite" as you pick the kids up from school :)

Firstly, welcome to the forum. As to your question, as far as I am aware Frontier have not indicated that other T-Shirt designs would be available. Personally, I would like to see a women's T-Shirt option too. :)

I'm very happy with the T shirt from the premium box although I would like to buy another so I can wear one and keep one sealed.

@Geraldine Yes mens/womens designs would also be good down the line. :)

Different designs would of course also be nice, maybe down the track this might eventuate.

Mugs are also good but I just prefer T shirts.

@Duvand I have seen Black T shirts with just the ELITE logo around. [EDIT].Personally I'd like the ELITE logo on the shoulders and just the word "ELITE" on the front left chest area.

I was just did a search for shirt threads and this didn't show up :rolleyes:

I wouldn't mind a choice of shirts, or be able to have some input into the design.

Though my main concern is the shirt sizes on offer. I'm a wookie, and will be needing a 3XL shirt. I have many a collectors edition with shirts made for lilliputians sitting in my cupboard being devoured by moths :(

I'm just thinking would this not be another good idea for some budding designer to put on Kickstarter?

Designing mugs, T-shirts and anything else with a stretch goal.

I'm certainly hoping for a black T-Shirt with the Gold Elite Logo on the front, it'd be nice if it were a stitched logo, like Le Shark or Lacoste.

Just for fun, along with "I backed Elite Dangerous" on the back, I'd like the logo with a spoof list of tour dates underneath, but with famous system names from the original and Frontier.

Anyone else feel this way or are you ok with people reading "I backed Elite" as you pick the kids up from school :)

To be honest, I got past worrying about what anyone else thinks about my dress sense about 20 years ago, if they have a problem with it, it's their issue not mine. I'm an ED backer and proud.

know that feeling well, at 6'10" anything long sleeved is going to have short arms at the very least.

sigh, this is what happens when you're old man miss-programs your pod from Krypton, grew up (and up) in zero g. :(

copyright/trade mark issues would prevent that unless FD were willing to part with a licence

I would like a subtle, small Elite logo at the top left of the t-shirt and nothing on the back.

With regard to size, I'll be ordering an XXL, 'cos once it's been through the washing machine and tumble dryer it'll be shrunk to an XL, which is about right for me :rolleyes:

This the V1 shirt I had printed way back at the start of the campaign

Also i just noticed on the web app you can buy a mug on its own for £20 but you can only buy the Tshirt with the mug for £50, If I was willing to spend that I'd already have a mug as I'd be looking at him in the mirror every morning!

Now I know that it can't really be considered a 'Buy' price as its a pledge but TBH i think as kickstarter is over it should start being honest and read 'Add Merchandise to your pledge' and stop referring to it as a 'Pledge Upgrade'

I am happy to support the game to the level of getting a T-shirt in the box.
The T-shirt as described I would not wear though.
Just a simple black T-shirt with an Elite logo on it somewhere, that was exclusive to backers, that I would wear with pride.

So if we've ordered the premium boxset then we don't/can't set the size yet and won't be able to till after the 11th Feb? Because I can't choose my size (the bigger the better) right now.

T-Shirt Or Polo Shirt For £10

OK ... Unless Frontier would like to step in at this point and offer them officially ...

I have found a website that will put a custom logo on a T-shirt or a polo shirt.
These are stitched on (they can do screen printing too) otherwise known as embroidered

You cannot simply order one in your size, they only deal in bulk orders
(or I would simply link to it here and let you order your own).

So, I propose that if you want a polo shirt or T-shirt with a small logo over the left breast,
similar to what Mobius has posted :

Then we organise one big order and we all get an unofficial Elite: Dangerous polo shirt or T-shirt.

If someone is interested in organising this, let me know
(I'm not really capable of handling the finances involved, I'll try to organise it if I have to)
If you would like a T-shirt or polo shirt with an embroidered logo for no more than about £15
you can post your request here, but I can't say when until things get organised
