T5 increased FSD range now gives +17-45% optimised mass

Whereas it was +20-25% in the beta, now it turns out that the highest FSD range increase blueprint gives +17-45% instead. At Felicity Farseer, at the very least.
So... 60 ly jump range Anacondas?

I rather enjoyed that 47ly full tank/49.9ly max Annie in beta. Although jumping around the bubble to sell off the fleet scattered from end to end, the longest jump was a mere 43ly.

Wow, really? That's a welcome surprise. I haven't even been to an engineer yet, spent all of last night trying the new mission interface out and mining in ice rings. I think tonight I'll go and see one.

I read somewhere jumponium only affects the base jump range
e.g. 35 LY Asp, engineered to 50 LY. Prem jumponium is 35X2+15=85LY (not 100 LY)
Can someone confirm which way round it is ?

If you mean the Engineer requirements, you should really go actually play the game and see for yourself.. ;)
Congratulations, we have a winner, after playing this game since its launch, putting around 300,000ly on my Conda, and being presently sat at Beagle Point having not left the area since arriving here on the DWE,, i finally have my first half baked answer to what i though was a perfectly reasonable enquiry, well done

I'll tell you soon enough. Just bought some meta-alloys in Maia, on my way to return them to Felicity Farseer.

EDIT:

1. Brought back 1 meta-alloy (I had bought all 9 available at Maia surface base, didn't know if they require more of them to gain ranks or something)
2. Saved & exited to main menu and relogged back in to make 'universal cartographics' available (it appears once you've completed the meta-alloy return to Felicity)
3. Returned one page (50 systems) of exploration data worth 1.9 million credits, was instantly boosted to grade 4 access
4. Returned another page (50 systems) of exploration data worth 1.7 million credits, checked engineers, noted I'm at 13% into grade 5 access
5. Returned another page (50 systems) of exploration data worth 817k credits, didn't seem to gain any progress to the 13% mark when looking at the 'engineers' panel
6. Returned another page (50 systems) of exploration data worth 1.9 million credits, suddenly I have grade 5 access.
7. Took this screenshot for your pleasure.
8. Saving rest of the exploration data for SEPP event in July
9. Apparently I need to install a wake scanner to find some of those ingredients :/

He has a habit of doing that, noticed it in another forum here. Someone needs to keep us in check :D

Just saying that you will see the requirements when you visit that specific engineer, i doubt anyone here yet has recipes written up for someone asking for them.

Asked a fellow Cmdr out here at BP a perfectly reasonable question.

Response "you could always search the forum"

Thanks for that, won't bother you again (won't bother with you again)

Long live community spirit.

WAIT, we can get access to the higher blueprints simply by selling exploration data to them? So we don't have to make dozens of lower tier module crafts just to grind our way up to the good ones?

If this is true then I think I'm about to head back out into deep space!

It's true enough, for now at least. But I rather suspect that in just searching for the ingredients required for the level 5 mods you'll find more than enough less rare ones required for the lower mods to fully rank up anyway. Think throwing away iron, etc when looking for polonium....

Getting a higher jumprange will be my number one focus with engineers. If the results are as good as you say, I might finally indulge in an FdL (and a Corvette if I ever get the rank and the money)...

Well, for this Farseer fellow, yes. She takes in exploration data. Other engineers might give credit for other stuff. I've heard there's this other guy who takes ALL KINDS OF bounty vouchers off your logs (so if you are like me and have 1500cr bounties from 40 different systems, he's your next logical port call... :))
