PvP T9 at CG: the good 'gank'

First, apologies for the clickbait title, I just wanted to share a great PVP experience from the trader side (however odd that may sound).

I arrived to Munshin in a fully loaded T9 'Lumberjane II' a couple of days ago, she has boosted-engineered A7 shields and A-rated drives geared to pull a 'Rinzler' upon interdiction. This means full pips on shields, submit, FA-off turn towards the attacker and high wake out ASAP. Usually it works, mostly I don't eve lose a ring - an FDL pilot even messaged me 'nice, c u'.

I wasn't so lucky after that, when a two-strong wing interdicted me: the lead CMDR (from, I guess, a PVP group as he had TLA suffix starting with an R in his name) in his Krait dropped me a pirate note to stop and release cargo.
Being confident I can pull this off again I tried to escape, but my FSD was taken out... I don't know if I actually could have done anything afterwards*, but my shields were gone by the time my FSD was halfway spooling up again.
So I ended up staring on the rebuy screen.

At first I decided to block him, which is something I shouldn't have done - it was completely fair play and I fly in open exactly for that. It was very well played, it was fun gameplay for me as well. This wasn't a gank, but proper pirating, so well done CMDR, o7, though I'm unsure whether I want to meet you again. If I do, I will release my cargo. :)

This keeps me flying to CGs in open, not those who boost into me around stations and block my landing pad (that makes me switch to private pronto).

*Probably low-waking as FSD charges quicker and the Krait can't mass-lock the T9?

That means you met someone with the FSD reboot missile. Either Grom Power Play or a regular dumbfire with the experimental effect.
It doesn't sound like low-waking would have been an option for you tbh, so I'd say you have only two left:
1. Accept that you are being pirated and stop. Then pray that they aren't just using that as an excuse to get you to stop and then kill you anyways
or
2. Lose a bit of jumprange and fit Fast Boot Sequence instead of Increased Range on your FSD. That will restart your FSD in around 2 seconds after being hit by the FSD Reboot, and you will be immune from another missile for as long as it takes to jump out.

I know, I was hit by that once in my ex-trader Anaconda - and got smoked.

Given I have a Guardian FSD booster, I can afford to take a range hit, so I will probably go for option 2. - especially as CG hauling is usually short distance. Thanks!
