To sum up, for the clickophobes: no, Tabby's Star (KIC 8462852) is not in ED. Only a few (100,000 or so) real-world stars have been added to the ED galaxy, mostly within 500 LY of Sol. MOst of the real-world stars beyond 500 LY are noteworthy for some particular reason (mostly because they're hot, bright supergiants). Tabby's Star is over 1400 LY away. Back when the ED galaxy was written in 2013/14, there was nothing remarkable known about it - it was just one more star out of the 13.2 million in the KIC database, so there was no reason to include it. We know it's remarkable now, but we still don't really know exactly why it's remarkable, so again, there's no particular reason to add it - especially when "Adding new stars" to the ED starmap is extremely difficult.
There are, however, plenty of procedurally-generated stars of the same star type, at about the same distance and direction, as Tabby's Star. I've suggested one of them in that old thread. So if you have a particualr need and desire to "visit Tabby's Star in-game", there's nothing to stop you unilaterally decalring a star like Pru Euq WJ-A d31 to be Tabby's Star, and then going and vissiting it. Of course, there isn't going to be anything new/odd/diferent in that system to actually see, but there wouldn't be even if Tabby's Star had been added to the game. There are plenty of real-world stars with real-world interesting features, for which the stars have been added to the game but the interesting features have not. Beta Lyrae, Eta Carinae and Achenar come to mind.
