Tables and benches

Well, that is certainly an excellent animation of a guest sitting down at a picnic table. I look forward to a group of guests trying the same thing and doing it as nicely. Multiplied by N picnic tables and N*[2,6] guests. Seriously, though. I'd love to have tables (picnic or otherwise) even if the guests have to teleport to use them.

They already do sit on benches with amazing animations, doing the same for different benches shouldn't be a problem. No need for teleporting :)

It doesn't matter if you have tables and benches or not until FD can get guests to sit facing the "correct" way on a bench and not walk through the table (or other scenery) when they leave. [mouth shut]

And how are the guests going to sit down or get up from the table? Animation-wise. Do they scoot the bench back. Will it be done the way guests enter and exit a ride car - by teleportation? I guess that could work though it might be a little weird-looking.

The real problem is not being able to make a large area of pathing like you could in old games, pathing is limited to width and length and the problem with that is that, unlike the old blocks that would stick together, these ones don't you'll just end up with a spiral or maze of paths to give the illusion that they're all together even when they're not. Basically this means that making an eating area might be tough to make realistic until paths can build into each other seamlessly and can make large areas or filled shape areas like this.

You can actually make large path areas, just use the path grid and draw with other paths around as much as you want.

Ahh man I couldn't figure out how to do that before omg lol. Everytime I did what I thought would work ended up looking like drawing from a toddler with a crayon...welp nice to know that it's possible.
