Tables & Chairs

I found a few videos and posts about tables and chairs in Planet Coaster and want to see what you've used?

This photo is using the following:

Tables:
Statue Plinth - Treasure Chest (Upside Down)

Chairs:
Wall Mounted Cannon (Upside Down)
Driftwood Planks (Short & Long)

Centerpiece:
Light - Round Latern (Upside Down)
Bamboo Torch

Pretty cool!!! Very medieval in style. I wonder that there is no smoke from the the cannons

Myself I'd like to see some more pirate themed lighting parts as well, like separate lighthouse lights and tower sections... Or maybe some curved stucco wood and modern sections similar to the curved stone sections... As well as some stucco wall sections with holes in them... Perhaps in both the Broken and whole variant... Maybe some hanging and animatronic sharks as well...

Really hope this is something on the radar for PC. Having these great buildings and themed food stands, but no peep seating is sad. Peeps need to sit and relax too [haha][hehe]

Hey grump,

Look at the image above [tongue]
Benches and picknick tables are already a confirmed feature. [big grin]
Hopefully they will be added in Alpha 3, and if not, they will be there for sure on release.

I hope the peeps can use custom benches too.

I hope so as well.

Actually im quite curious what items we can make ourself when we get UGC. Will it be just walls and scenery? Or also shops, stalls, benches ?
Or in a perfect world even flatides and coasters/trains.

Same here !!!!!!!

I really can not wait to see what choices they made to let us play with our own imported creations. [big grin][big grin][big grin]

I'm not a 3D modeler, so I will not make 3D content, but I can't wait to make tens or hundreds of new textures for paths, walls, roofs, building elements, etc. [yesnod]

I just hope they will provide the tools allowing the community to import EASILY all kinds of textures, music, sound, CSO/CFR/CTR (animated or not, scripted or not) with something more official, easier, cleaner and faster than a simple "importer", and (more importantly) allowing to "share custom content online" (which would be the real innovation) for a game like that.

I like your perfect world. [yesnod] I would love to make my own flat rides. Frontier is definitely not going to be able to make every flat ride that I enjoy. Being able to add rides to Planet Coaster is an ideal situation since I wouldn't need to look towards another game for that sort of freedom.

I also see this as a win for Frontier for 2 reasons: First, they can focus on expanding the game through a Soaked-like expansion. Of all the RCT expansions I can definitely say that Soaked was my favorite because of how it changed and expanded the game. Other expansions added content, but Soaked added new ways to play. I hope that Planet Coaster gets a similar water park-focused expansion. Water parks are a big deal at amusement parks. They were a superb addition to RCT3. This also has the impact of setting things up so modders and Frontier aren't competing with each other since modders would expand the ride roster and Frontier would expand the gameplay possibilities.

Second, user generated content makes headlines which generates free advertising. It's common to see gaming news sources promote mods for games and create lists of the best mods for each game. Skyrim and Fallout and other games stay in the news and attract all sorts of attention as a result of this. It's a value-added thing for games.

Personally, I absolutely would create flat rides.

Anyone else think the peeps in the other coaster titles are creepy? Just grabbed RCTW on sale... the 'peeps' are just bizarre [shocked] Anyway....

I'm just starting to realize how flexible and creative PC can be, even at the stage we are at. Even if they don't add UGC via an external plugin or 3d software, I do hope they would add a 'group item' and save as feature so we could make our own table and share /save it, or at least be able to us it in different parks on our own game.

I think we will be able to do that once the "blueprints" feature is added, at least I hope we can.
