Tables connected to restaurants.

In the next update please give us the ability to click on a table that is connected to a restaurant and choose if that table should allow none paying customers to use it.

When you click on a table connected to a restaurant, please add a tick box to that tables menu that says something like "Allow all guests" or something.

I want to create an open, outdoor seating/restaurant area when the update comes out and would like to choose a few of the tables for all guests to use.

Edit: I know you could place a few unconnected tables. But these tables wouldnt be available to use by the restaurant if all the restaurant tables are in use.

Filling up empty restaurant tables with common peeps?
I think that tables and benches are used rarely, at all. Even tables in food courts aren't used that much. Probably none of common peeps would look for a table in a designated restaurant area if it's not a walk trough area.

Maybe (just maybe) restaurant guests might use nearby not connected tables if connected tables aren't available.

Thats exactly it. I have food courts that are also well located to be used by all gusts, even those that havnt bought food from the restauran.

As for guests not using tables ect, have you changed the "guests tiredness" in the options?

Haven't changed the options, yet. I'll have a look at it.

Your idea isn't suitable for a food court with different stalls. At least not for the upcoming restaurants (because they are different to stalls).

You might be able to fake stalls (several kitchens with limited menue in different themed booths) and attach some tables to each kitchen on its own.

I wouldn't wait for a mixed tables toggle...

I dont think you are getting what i mean. I want an outdoor eating courts right next to a restaurant, that has trables that are connected to the restaurant (Ourdoor eating area) But i would also like to be able to select a few of those tables for all guests to use and not just guests using the restaurant.
I want guests that are walking past the outdoor eating area to also be able to use a few of the tables.

Edit; I think that once a table is connected to a restaurant, only guests that are using that restaurant can use that table.
I just want the ability to have all guests use a table even if it is connected to a restaurant.

Ok then, I was confused about the food court.

In the unlocked stream, they clearly said that connected tables will be usable for guests of the restaurant only. Your idea would undermine that. Nothing against your idea, but I assume that it wouldn't happen (at least because it is a very specific request)...

But as you said, you still can place some tables there without connecting them...
Then it would be interesting if restaurant customers might use not connected tables if connected ones aren't available...

We can have the option to have tables that are connected to a restaurant, only usable by the restaurant customers, or by all guests. Choice is always good.
