its easy to get caught up in racing for the next credit, or finding a broken mechanic to lament over etc.

I've found it a nice break to stop at a star, station etc, get into a light drift with flight assist off and play one of these vids in the background to just listen to the audio. My new pc shows up in two days, and I cant wait to hook up my new oculus dk2 so I can sit in the cockpit and stare out the window. If you can tear yourself away from blowing up wanted criminals, or complaining about an injustice, I'd recommend trying it.

Yeah - I often do that in the rift - find an interestingly lit ice belt, let myself drift, listen to some music, have some Lagavullin and a cigar turning all systems off and letting the ship freeze up.

Great relaxation after a hard days work.

For that extra immersive quality, turn up the AC in your room to max too. :)
