Newcomer / Intro Take Moduls/Loadout from old ship over to the new one

Nope, if you sell the modules you can buy them back but not sure if that carries over to the new ship, you can test it and see if that works.
I have been told (but not tried it myself) that if you sell a module in outfitting, then swap ships (at the same station) you can buy back the module for your new ship.
You can only do this at outfitters which can outfit the specific modules. For example, if the station does not sell FSD's, ie it says not available at this station, you can not buy back a FSD that you have sold there. I was advised to find a station which you can buy every type of module from and make that your base for new and old ship.
If anyone has tried the above, can they confirm that this is correct as I haven't got round to upgrading like this yet and my ship is currently out in the black exploring toward the Pleiades

i noticed the buyback option. i ll give it a try using the mentioned methods. but still its odd that you cant have a hangar or depot to store stuff or a simple option to take over the moduls...leaves a "beta feeling" of missing options to me...
additionally i had a strange bug where the shipyard windows told me my ship was at "I Bootis" and when i went there it still said "I Bootis" but 14.000 LS(!!) away. i relogged at found my ship at olivas city in LHS 3505 (54 LY away), which is a very nice station since they got a lot of moduls in the shop.

No ther is no way to do this currently and with good reason...ships are different..diff hardpoints/internal/power requirements etc etc...sell all equip prior to new ship purchase and if ur like me dont automatically refuel/rearm/repair wen docked..becuz (as I did once) I spent over 8K wen I docked on a ship I was about to sell (yes I felt like a stupid JackA@@)
