Take the "remoteness" of a system/station into account for Missions and its Market

Space is huge! ED really drives this home.

Now in a *game* when investing some real time to reach remote destinations at least some times it would make sense i think to take the "remoteness" into account when rewarding players.
Be it by missions or markets actually acknowledging the fact that those places are not easy to reach so certain things are either more valuable there or only available there or "strange" due to the disconnect ;)
It wouldn't have to be always like this but at least the chances for such "remoteness" consideration should be higher in such places.
Given such a system the lamenting about long journeys could be answered with: "... and it is worth it!" ;)

Thoughts?

Agreed! Hopefully mission updates will address some of this.

Your idea ties into a post I made far in the past and more recently about trade runs.

Every system with life offers something unique. (Sorry, dead systems offer resources, but probably not unique wines or foods...).

"Rares" are already in game but imho they need to be expanded. Rare should be system "signature product, plant or animal" that players can truck 100 LY away. As long as there is demand...

Lavian Brandy is quite nice and hard to come by in the hinterlands.

And, especially remote systems might not just be a consumer, but a producer of a valuable drug that cannot yet be synthesized... like Onionhead. So reaching the remote system would be rewarded by the return trip hauling that rare item.

I think any system that is the last or next to the last populated system on the map should have some bonus for visiting traders in the form of "rares" needed or in supply. Or maybe fuel is twice as much, just because, last gas station for 10,000 LY.
