I hope the next patch has Cobra skins, I want to chuck some money at my screen for 2 or maybe 3 of them.

Certainly much cheaper than the Connies that have just gone on sale but it did bring in a lot of money for them.

I think SC has tapped into something interesting - they've hooked in a bunch of punters (myself included) not just for a single shot but for repeat business through the simple expedient of mawkish spaceship adverts done as car commercials.

I'd really rather be throwing money at Frontier, though I'm not sure in what capacity - certainly I'd hate it if Elite were to go down the same pay-to-fly route. Interior cockpit decoration would be cool, if they were a lot further reaching than "Christmas tree on your dashboard." And yeah, ship skins...

...actually ship skins is interesting. I understand why they'd want to keep it limited rather than offer a true user-customisable option (aside from having to sync user-custom paint jobs, the time-to-genital would be vanishingly small) but I'm not too enamoured of the current selection. I do expect to buy at least one for each ship type, though.

Don't know about Cobra skins, but there are very strong hints of Viper skins.
