Seeker missiles the easy bet?

Seems that way on NPCs.

Just targeting players in trade ships here, kill their drive so I can shoot out the hatch.

You say that seekers are a good bet?

Don't care about skill level thoughts here: I'm looking for a tool.

Yep. Seekers, paks, or super pen rails. Also mines can temporarily disabled thrusters but I can't remember which experimental does that.

So far, on consoles pack-hounds do the trick... super-pen rails require a lot of accuracy and unless the target is trying to wake out these will be [overall] less effective vs. an equivalent swarm of p-hounds.

For regular seeker missiles, what experimental would be recommended?

For Piracy? Grade 5 Rapid Fire with Drag Munitions. For PvP, High Cap is better with Drag or Thermal Cascade

Packhounds are great, but seekers do more internal damage and are faster. Better for piracy or module targeting IMO

Agreed, but I reckon seekers are taken out easier by PDs (so effectiveness may be situational, rapid fire G5 definitively helps).

Thank you.

Yes, these are for piracy. My plan is to have one dumbfire with FSD reboot, and per your advice, one seeker with drag.

Thank you.
