Taking someone else into space using one VR set and 2 computers.

This is exactly what I am intending to do too in near future. I currently play ED with DK2 and am waiting for next gen HMD to come out, which when it comes out I will not sell my DK2 but get a second PC along with it so my girlfreind can join me in my ship and fly explore together. Right now it sucks that when I play ED in VR, it takes my precious time away being with my gf. Once I get a second system, we can be together exploring the universe together! I am excited for this, and so is she apparently!

You got a keeper their if she is telling you the truth. My missus just laughs at the idea.

She already tried it in VR and loved it, so she not saying it blindly. The only problem was that she had slight nausea, but I'm sure with next gen hmd and stronger pc, any nausea issues will go away.

Next step is to upgrade the older PC and use my old DK2 on that (have the CV1 on the higher end PC). Then put a sign outside my house "Fly with me to Trappist 1 in VR, $5 per trip", make a fortune. Or maybe not...

Super :) I have a 6 year old son and I want to do what you do too :)

But he is a super mario fan at the moment, maybe in a year or two. Great idea

I think 6 to 10 years old is a good age range, my grandson now pesters my daughter to come round and "fly into space with grandad", Oh the popularity! :)
My wife on the other hand, "maybe tomorrow night?" just like everything else... :-(
