Tapirs

Don't you think it would be possible for tapir enclosures to be accessible to visitors? Tapirs always seem relaxed in animal docusoaps when interacting with people.
I think it is a pity that visitors always flee from the tapir walk if I do not cut off the visitors' path by rocks or something else.

They’re pretty shy by nature, but they’re also quite a bit larger than you may think they are. Like if one made up its mind to attack a person, especially a child, they would get seriously injured. And like I said, they value their privacy. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a walkthrough tapir habitat irl

Tapirs always look quite cuddly. One stroke after the other from the keeper.

I have put Tapirs and Giant Anteaters together in a habitat and would like use the Anteaters that Guests can enter the habitat.

Well there is a difference between them being friendly with their keepers, who they see multiple times week (sometimes day) and feed them. 1000s of strange guests trying to poke and prod them is quite different.

And since you mentioned them, Giant anteaters are far more dangerous than tapirs. I mean, they use their giant claws to fight off freakin Jaguars! Imagine what they would do to a child! And like tapirs, they're are much bigger in real life than you are imagining them to be.

Planet Zoo allows Guests to enter an Anteater Habitat.

In 2013, a child that was allowed into a lowland tapir enclosure in an Irish zoo had her arm de-gloved (where the skin is ripped off in the manner of removing a rubber glove). In 1998, a zookeeper working with a Malayan tapir was dragged into the enclosure by the animal, which then bit her in the face, punctured one of her lungs and bit her arm clean off at mid-bicep. A wild Baird's tapir (the species in Planet Zoo) attacked a conservationist in Costa Rica in 2006; only his backpack stopped the animal from biting through the back of his neck.

In short, while they are often quite gentle animals, tapirs have an aggressive side and definitely shouldn't be allowed to share a confined space with the public.

Thank you for doing the research to back up my point, as I was too lazy to do so lol

that poor child 😩

They have compatible terrain/foliage needs and shouldn't attack each other unless Frontier specifically programmed the two of them to do so, so I'd think that combination would work.

Tapirs are huge. At the zoo they are mu I larger than the anteaters; the tapirs are like the size of a small cow. Huge animals, very big.

Now, I don't know much about their behavior, but I do know anteaters (and it's relatives the sloths) can be very dangerous

🤔 I think every time I saw Tapirs next to their Keeper, they more looked like they are closer in Size to a Donkey. But now that I think about it, I think about it Miniature Zebus (which we should get in the Game🙃) are also relatively small. Looked it up and they are even smaller than average Donkeys.
The Bairds Tapir has a Height of 120cm, so it is between those two Animals in Size
