Target Acceleration Indicator

Hello Commanders & Developers,

Serendipity just paid me a visit and I felt the need to immediately share the insight. It would be useful if a selected target's distance indicators (bottom-left of dashboard & free-floating HUD) would change color on a continuum, perhaps between "red" to show if the target is accelerating towards me and "green" if away. This is for flying while in normal space where ships travel in meters per second. The standard color currently in use would indicate no acceleration in the physics sense, as in no change in relative velocity. The color change is meant to indicate a change in throttle, added pull of gravity, collision, or concussion, change in trajectory, etc. Essentially this shows if the target is changing course and how aggressively, depending on the hue of the distance indicators' numbers. This thought arose when I considered that the rate at which the distance indicators' numbers change is too fast to realistically track; at least until an upcoming update allows another commander aboard. What do you think?
