The Target Display, the one that displays a 3D representation of current target and it's attitude in relation to the vehicle I am in, is showing the incorrect angle at all times for star ports except when in auto docking mode. The Target Display shows the correct angle for all ship targets however, I am able to see I am behind a ship when I Interdict for piracy and the interdictions are successful.
Since the trouble appears to only be when I am targeting star ports, it may not seem like a big deal but it means I can't make an efficient approach to a star port by dropping out of cruise in front of the mail slot. When flying larger ships, this means a lot of extra time maneuvering on thrusters from wherever I happened to drop out of cruise and then searching for the mail slot. In addition, the start ports appear to be rotating end over end instead of along their axis, and that's just not a good look.
The first picture shows that when I am facing the mail slot, the star port is not oriented properly on the Target Display (Target is grey). The second picture shows the proper target orientation on the Target Display but this is on Auto Dock mode(Target is green).
